Federer, Annacone at Rogers Cup

It's raining really, really hard out right now, so I'm going to wait a bit and hope that it stops before I head out to the Rogers Cup. The good news is that while I'm waiting, I can post more photos from Day 1 of the event.

Let's start with Federer since it's his birthday today. Fed looked good at practice yesterday—relaxed and smiling, with Mirka watching from the bench and Paul Annacone coaching him on the court. He was, of course, wearing a monogrammed RF shirt, and plaid shorts. Roger practiced with Kohlschreiber first and then later with Soderling. Below are the photos...Happy 29th bday R. Fed!

ESPN's Love Letter to Federer's Baby

In honour of the first birthday of Federer's twin girls, I've reposted a video I found today on Tennis Planet.

Apparently ESPN made this video after Federer won his 15th grand slam, and before anyone knew that Mirka would actually be having twins. It's basically a love letter about Federer, written to his unborn child. And it's awesome.

Happy Birthday to the Federer Twins!

Roger updated his facebook page today with the following message:

"We are celebrating Charlene Riva and Myla Rose's first birthday today!
We are currently staying in Switzerland and are having a great time
together. We will be enjoying a birthday party later today which will
certainly be a treat for our two little ones.

We would like to thank all fans and friends for your gifts, cards and
nice words for Charlene and Myla. We are very grateful to receive all
your support.

All the best and see you soon

Roger and Mirka"
